11 The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Hill) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 1, line 19-27, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 (7) A ballot or absentee ballot that otherwise
19 satisfies the requirements of subsection (5) shall be counted
20 even if the elector dies after mailing the ballot but on or
21 before election day.
22 Section 2. Subsection (3) is added to section 101.657,
23 Florida Statutes, to read:
24 101.657 Early voting.--
25 (3) The county canvasing board shall count the ballot
26 of every elector voting early even if the elector dies after
27 voting early but on or before election day.
