11 The Committee on Children and Families (Campbell) recommended
12 the following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 1, lines 17-28, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 (4)(a) The sworn petition shall allege the incidents
19 of repeat violence, sexual violence, or dating violence and
20 shall include the specific facts and circumstances that form
21 the basis upon which relief is sought. With respect to a minor
22 child who is living at home, the parent or legal guardian
23 seeking the protective injunction on behalf of the minor child
24 must:
25 1. Have been an eyewitness to, or have direct physical
26 evidence or affidavits from eyewitnesses of, the specific
27 facts and circumstances which form the basis upon which relief
28 is sought, if the party against whom the protective injunction
29 is sought is also a parent, stepparent, or legal guardian of
30 the minor child; or
31 2. Have reasonable cause to believe that the minor

1 child is a victim of repeat, sexual, or dating violence to
2 form the basis upon which relief is sought, if the party
3 against whom the protective injunction is sought is a person
4 other than a parent, stepparent, or legal guardian of the
