17 insert:
18 (8) Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions, for
19 gifts and pledges made before July 1, 2006, the state's total
20 obligation for matching grants under the current matching
21 criteria shall not exceed $125 million. Gifts and pledges
22 received by the Board of Governors Foundation, Inc., and each
23 university before July 1, 2006, which are in excess of $125
24 million will not be eligible for state match until July 1,
25 2006, under the revised match criteria set forth in
26 sub-subparagraphs (3)(b)2.a.-f. and subparagraph (5)(c)2.
