11 The Committee on Ways and Means (Campbell) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 6, line 18, delete that line

17 and insert:
18 Section 3. There is appropriated $1,400,000 from the
19 General Revenue Fund on a recurring basis to the Department of
20 Law Enforcement to fund the department's costs associated with
21 the retirement benefits granted by this act, effective October
22 1, 2005.
23 Section 4. This act shall take effect October 1, 2005.
