4 | Section 9. The sums of $431,121 in recurring funds and |
5 | $1,305 in nonrecurring funds from the General Revenue Fund and |
6 | $432,426 in recurring funds from the Administrative Trust Fund |
7 | are appropriated to the Agency for Health Care Administration |
8 | and one full-time equivalent position is authorized for the |
9 | purpose of contracting with a vendor to monitor and evaluate the |
10 | clinical practice patterns of providers and provide information |
11 | to improve patient care and reduce utilization as established in |
12 | section 3 during the 2005-2006 fiscal year. |
13 | Section 10. The sums of $1,100,000 in recurring funds from |
14 | the General Revenue Fund and $1,100,000 in recurring funds from |
15 | the Administrative Trust Fund are appropriated to the Agency for |
16 | Health Care Administration for the purpose of contracting with a |
17 | vendor to design a web-based database to allow providers to |
18 | review real-time utilization of Medicaid services in order to |
19 | coordinate care and identify potential fraud and abuse as |
20 | established in section 3 during the 2005-2006 fiscal year. |
21 | Section 11. The sums of $4,427,897 in recurring funds and |
22 | $7,571,635 in nonrecurring funds from the General Revenue Fund |
23 | and $5,237,032 in recurring funds and $7,562,500 in nonrecurring |
24 | funds from the Administrative Trust Fund are appropriated to the |
25 | Agency for Health Care Administration and seven full-time |
26 | equivalent positions are authorized for the purpose of |
27 | developing infrastructure and administrative resources necessary |
28 | to develop the capitated managed care pilot program established |
29 | in section 2 and for purposes of integrated managed long-term |
30 | care services, the reimbursement business case, emergency room |
31 | diversion, drug management, destroying drug reports, and |
32 | explanations of benefits during the 2005-2006 fiscal year. |
33 | Section 12. The sums of $845,223 in recurring funds from |
34 | the General Revenue Fund and $2,324,224 in recurring funds from |
35 | the Administrative Trust Fund and the sums of $3,935 in |
36 | nonrecurring funds from the General Revenue Fund and $3,934 in |
37 | nonrecurring funds from the Administrative Trust Fund are |
38 | appropriated to the Agency for Health Care Administration and |
39 | three positions are authorized for the purpose of developing a |
40 | managed care encounter data information system during the 2005- |
41 | 2006 fiscal year. |
