2     Amendment (with title amendment)
3     Between line(s) 2579 and 2580, insert:
4     Section 9.  The sums of $431,121 in recurring funds and
5$1,305 in nonrecurring funds from the General Revenue Fund and
6$432,426 in recurring funds from the Administrative Trust Fund
7are appropriated to the Agency for Health Care Administration
8and one full-time equivalent position is authorized for the
9purpose of contracting with a vendor to monitor and evaluate the
10clinical practice patterns of providers and provide information
11to improve patient care and reduce utilization as established in
12section 3 during the 2005-2006 fiscal year.
13     Section 10.  The sums of $1,100,000 in recurring funds from
14the General Revenue Fund and $1,100,000 in recurring funds from
15the Administrative Trust Fund are appropriated to the Agency for
16Health Care Administration for the purpose of contracting with a
17vendor to design a web-based database to allow providers to
18review real-time utilization of Medicaid services in order to
19coordinate care and identify potential fraud and abuse as
20established in section 3 during the 2005-2006 fiscal year.
21     Section 11.  The sums of $4,427,897 in recurring funds and
22$7,571,635 in nonrecurring funds from the General Revenue Fund
23and $5,237,032 in recurring funds and $7,562,500 in nonrecurring
24funds from the Administrative Trust Fund are appropriated to the
25Agency for Health Care Administration and seven full-time
26equivalent positions are authorized for the purpose of
27developing infrastructure and administrative resources necessary
28to develop the capitated managed care pilot program established
29in section 2 and for purposes of integrated managed long-term
30care services, the reimbursement business case, emergency room
31diversion, drug management, destroying drug reports, and
32explanations of benefits during the 2005-2006 fiscal year.
33     Section 12.  The sums of $845,223 in recurring funds from
34the General Revenue Fund and $2,324,224 in recurring funds from
35the Administrative Trust Fund and the sums of $3,935 in
36nonrecurring funds from the General Revenue Fund and $3,934 in
37nonrecurring funds from the Administrative Trust Fund are
38appropriated to the Agency for Health Care Administration and
39three positions are authorized for the purpose of developing a
40managed care encounter data information system during the 2005-
412006 fiscal year.
