11  The Committee on Judiciary (Campbell) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 3, line 12, after the words "account
16  beneficiary."

18  insert:  
19         (4)  Moneys paid into or out of, the assets of, and the
20  income of any hurricane savings account established by an
21  insurance policyholder for residential property in this state
22  to cover an insurance deductible or other uninsured portion of
23  the risks of loss from a hurricane, rising floodwaters, or
24  other catastrophic windstorm event are not liable to
25  attachment, levy, garnishment, or legal process in this state
26  in favor of any creditor of or claimant against any account
27  participant, purchaser, owner or contributor, or account
28  beneficiary. As used in this subsection, the term "hurricane
29  savings account" means an account established by the owner of
30  residential real estate in this state who specifies that the
31  purpose of the account is to cover the amount of insurance
