12  the following substitute for amendment (113416):

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 7, line 30, after the period, through page 8,
16  line 5, delete all of said lines
17  
18  and insert:  Instructional time for such enrollment may exceed
19  900 hours; however, the school district may only report the
20  student for a maximum of 1.0 FTE, as provided in s.
21  1011.61(4).  Dual enrollment instruction of high school
22  students which is eligible for high school and postsecondary
23  credit shall be reported by the school district in an amount
24  equal to the hours of instruction that would be necessary to
25  earn the FTE and the funding for the equivalent course if it
26  were taught in the school district.  Any student so enrolled
27  is exempt
