  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to early childhood

  3         immunizations; prohibiting the use of vaccines

  4         that contain thimerosal or mercury in

  5         immunizing a minor against communicable

  6         diseases; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  A vaccine used for immunizing a minor in

11  this state may not contain thimerosal or mercury.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

13  law.
