14 Delete everything after the enacting clause

16 and insert:
17 Section 1. Subsection (3) of section 796.07, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 796.07 Prohibiting prostitution, etc.; evidence;
20 penalties; definitions.--
21 (3)(a) In the trial of a person charged with a
22 violation of this section, testimony concerning the reputation
23 of any place, structure, building, or conveyance involved in
24 the charge, testimony concerning the reputation of any person
25 residing in, operating, or frequenting such place, structure,
26 building, or conveyance, and testimony concerning the
27 reputation of the defendant is admissible in evidence in
28 support of the charge.
29 (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a
30 police officer may testify as an offended party in an action
31 regarding charges filed pursuant to this section.

11 prostitution; amending s. 796.07, F.S.;

13 offended party in an action under s. 796.07,
14 F.S.; providing an effective date.
