11  The Committee on Health Care (Atwater) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 2, lines 8-18, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  563.09  Malt beverage tastings permitted.--A
18  licensed manufacturer, importer, or vendor of malt beverages
19  may conduct malt beverage tastings within the interior
20  structures of any licensed premises with at least 5,000 square
21  feet of floor space which is authorized to sell malt beverages
22  by package or for consumption on the premises without being in
23  violation of s. 561.42 if the conduct of the malt beverage
24  tastings is limited to and directed toward those individuals
25  in the general public who may legally consume the malt
26  beverage. The 5,000 square feet minimum does not apply to any
27  premises licensed to sell malt beverages, wine, and liquor.
