| 8 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 9 |

| 10 | Section 1. Florida Gulf Coast University School of |
| 11 | Engineering authorized; bachelor's degrees authorized.-- |
| 12 | (1) Florida Gulf Coast University may establish a School |
| 13 | of Engineering, subject to approval by the Board of Governors. |
| 14 | (2) The School of Engineering at Florida Gulf Coast |
| 15 | University may award bachelor of science degrees in |
| 16 | bioengineering, environmental and civil engineering, and |
| 17 | engineering management. |
| 18 | Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
