15 On page 66, lines 16-25, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 Section 4. The Office of Program Policy Analysis and
19 Government Accountability, in consultation with the Auditor
20 General, shall comprehensively evaluate the two managed care
21 pilot programs created under section 409.91211, Florida
22 Statutes. The evaluation shall begin with the implementation
23 of the managed care model in the pilot areas and continue for
24 24 months after the two pilot programs have enrolled Medicaid
25 recipients and started providing health care services. The
26 evaluation must include assessments of cost savings; consumer
27 education, choice, and access to services; coordination of
28 care; and quality of care by each eligibility category and
29 managed care plan in each pilot site. The evaluation must
30 describe administrative or legal barriers to the
31 implementation and operation of each pilot program and include
