11 Senator Smith moved the following amendment:

13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 80, between lines 11 and 12,

16 insert:
17 Section 13. Section 409.9062, Florida Statutes, is
18 amended to read:
19 409.9062 Lung transplant services for Medicaid
20 recipients.--Subject to the availability of funds and subject
21 to any limitations or directions provided for in the General
22 Appropriations Act or chapter 216, the Agency for Health Care
23 Administration Medicaid program shall pay for medically
24 necessary lung transplant services for Medicaid recipients.
25 These payments must be used to reimburse approved lung
26 transplant facilities a global fee for providing lung
27 transplant services to Medicaid recipients.
28 Section 14. The sums of $401,098 from the General
29 Revenue Fund and $593,058 from the Medical Care Trust Fund are
30 appropriated to the Agency for Health Care Administration for
31 the purpose of implementing section 13 during the 2005-2006
