14 Delete everything after the enacting clause

16 and insert:
17 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subsection (6) of section
18 403.413, Florida Statutes, is amended
19 403.413 Florida Litter Law.--
20 (6) PENALTIES; ENFORCEMENT.--
21 (a) Any person who dumps litter in violation of
22 subsection (4) in an amount not exceeding 15 pounds in weight
23 or 27 cubic feet in volume and not for commercial purposes is
24 guilty of a noncriminal infraction, punishable by a civil
25 penalty of $100, from which $50 shall be deposited into the
26 Solid Waste Management Trust Fund to be used for the solid
27 waste management grant program pursuant to s. 403.7095 $50. In
28 addition, the court may require the violator to pick up litter
29 or perform other labor commensurate with the offense
30 committed.
31 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.

7 An act relating to the Florida Litter Law;
8 amending s. 403.413, F.S.; increasing the fine
9 for a noncriminal infraction of the Florida
10 Litter Law from $50 to $100; dedicating a
11 portion of the increase to the Solid Waste
12 Management Trust Fund; providing a use for such
13 funds; providing an effective date.
