3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Remove line(s) 618-631 and insert:
5     (3)  PAYMENT AND DISPOSITION OF TAXES.--
6     (a)  Payment for the tax on slot machines revenues imposed
7by this section shall be paid to the division. The division
8shall deposit these sums with the Chief Financial Officer, to
9the credit of the Pari-mutuel Wagering Trust Fund. The slot
10machine licensee shall remit to the division payment for the tax
11on slot machine revenues. Such payments shall be remitted by 3
12p.m. Wednesday of each week for taxes imposed and collected for
13the preceding week ending on Sunday. The slot machine licensee
14shall file a report under oath by the 5th day of each calendar
15month for all taxes remitted during the preceding calendar
16month. Such payments shall be accompanied by a report under oath
17showing all slot machine gaming activities for the preceding
18calendar month and such other information as may be prescribed
19by the division.
20     (b)  From moneys received under this section, up to $500
21per machine shall be transferred to the district school board of
22the district in which the machine is located to be distributed
23as provided in this paragraph.
24     1.  The school district where the slot machine licensee is
25located shall request such moneys as are available under this
26subsection for reimbursement of the following additional
27expenses:
28     a.  Supplemental public education instruction expenses;
29     b.  Classroom and school facilities construction expenses;
30     c.  School safety expenses; or
31     d.  Educational infrastructure expenses.

33Eligible expenses under this paragraph must have been incurred
34as a direct result of the slot machine licensee's operation of
35slot machines in the school district during the immediately
36preceding year.
37     2.  The Department of Education shall distribute the moneys
38available under this paragraph for reimbursement of expenses to
39the school district only after conducting an independent audit
40for the purposes of determining the amount of the additional
41expenses to the school district that are attributable to such
42district as a direct result of the slot machine licensee's
43operations of slot machines in the school district during the
44immediately preceding school year.
