11  The Committee on Health Care (Saunders) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 4, lines 3 through 9, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  Council shall consist of 19 members, including
18  three representatives of statutory teaching hospitals, three
19  representatives of public hospitals, three representatives of
20  nonprofit hospitals, three representatives of for-profit
21  hospitals, two representatives of rural hospitals, two
22  representatives of units of local government which contribute
23  funding, one representative of an organization that is not a
24  federally-qualified health center that meets the requirements
25  for nonprofit status under s. 501(c)(3) of the Internal
26  Revenue Code offering primary health care services to
27  uninsured populations, one representative of
28  federally-qualified health centers, and one representative of
29  the Department of Health.
