11  The Committee on Ways and Means (Atwater) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 16, lines 6-11, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  entities through intergovernmental transfers in
18  accordance with published federal statutes and regulations.
19  The Agency for Health Care Administration shall distribute
20  upper-payment-limit, disproportionate share hospital, and
21  low-income pool funds according to published federal statutes,
22  regulations, and waivers and the low-income pool methodology
23  approved by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
24  Services.
