3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Remove lines 73-82 and insert:
5     (3)(a)  Effective May 2, 2005, employers shall pay
6employees a minimum wage at an hourly rate of $6.15 for all
7hours worked in Florida. Only those individuals entitled to
8receive the federal minimum wage under the federal Fair Labor
9Standards Act and its implementing regulations shall be eligible
10to receive the state minimum wage pursuant to s. 24, Art. X of
11the State Constitution and this section. The provisions of ss.
12213 and 214 of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, as
13interpreted by applicable federal regulations and implemented by
14the Secretary of Labor, are incorporated herein.
15     (b)  Employers required to pay the state minimum wage as
16provided for in paragraph (a) shall post notice of the
17applicable wage in certain locations as required under federal
18law. If authorized under federal law, employers may post a
19single notice designed to inform employees of both the federal
20and applicable state minimum wage rate.
