11  The Committee on Regulated Industries (Posey) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 9, line 24, through page 10, line 5, delete
16  those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         (1)  Upon application and a finding by the division
20  after investigation that the application is complete and the
21  applicant is qualified and payment of the initial license fee,
22  the division shall issue a license to a pari-mutuel
23  permitholder to conduct slot machine gaming in the designated
24  slot machine gaming area of the eligible facility.  Once the
25  permitholder is licensed, slot machine gaming may be conducted
26  subject to the requirements of this chapter and rules adopted
27  pursuant thereto.
