11  The Committee on Ways and Means (Clary and Crist) recommended
12  the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 43, line 11, after the word "thereto"
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 7.  The Department of Business and Professional
19  Regulation may expend the unreserved cash balance in the
20  Pari-mutuel Wagering Trust Fund received from non-slot revenue
21  sources to implement slot machine regulation and
22  investigations during fiscal year 2005-2006. Beginning as soon
23  as practical, but no later than fiscal year 2006-2007, the
24  department shall initiate repayment of such funds with slot
25  machine license revenue sources until the full amount is
26  reimbursed. The department shall submit a repayment plan for
27  approval to the Executive Office of the Governor and the chair
28  and vice chair of the Legislative Budget Commission in
29  accordance with the provisions of s. 216.177, Florida
30  Statutes. The repaid funds shall be subject to the
31  requirements of s. 550.135(2), Florida Statutes.
