14 On page 17, lines 4-18, delete those lines

16 and insert:
17 (3) PAYMENT AND DISPOSITION OF TAXES.--
18 (a) Payment for the tax on slot machines revenues
19 imposed by this section shall be paid to the division. The
20 division shall deposit these sums with the Chief Financial
21 Officer, to the credit of the Pari-mutuel Wagering Trust Fund.
22 The slot machine licensee shall remit to the division payment
23 for the tax on slot machine revenues. Such payments shall be
24 remitted by 3 p.m. Wednesday of each week for taxes imposed
25 and collected for the preceding week ending on Sunday. The
26 slot machine licensee shall file a report under oath by the
27 5th day of each calendar month for all taxes remitted during
28 the preceding calendar month. Such payments shall be
29 accompanied by a report under oath showing all slot machine
30 gaming activities for the preceding calendar month and such
31 other information as may be prescribed by the division.

1 (b) From moneys received under this section, up to
2 $500 per machine shall be transferred to the district school
3 board of the district in which the machine is located to be
4 distributed as provided in this paragraph.
5 1. The school district where the slot machine licensee
6 is located shall request such moneys as are available under
7 this subsection for reimbursement of the following additional
8 expenses:
9 a. Supplemental public education instruction expenses;
10 b. Classroom and school facilities construction
11 expenses;
12 c. School safety expenses; or
13 d. Educational infrastructure expenses.

15 Eligible expenses under this paragraph must have been incurred
16 as a direct result of the slot machine licensee's operation of
17 slot machines in the school district during the immediately
18 preceding year.
19 2. The Department of Education shall distribute the
20 moneys available under this paragraph for reimbursement of
21 expenses to the school district only after conducting an
22 independent audit for the purposes of determining the amount
23 of the additional expenses to the school district that are
24 attributable to such district as a direct result of the slot
25 machine licensee's operations of slot machines in the school
26 district during the immediately preceding school year.
