| 5 | Section 2. Subsection (7) is added to section 106.29, |
| 6 | Florida Statutes, to read: |
| 7 | 106.29 Reports by political parties; restrictions on |
| 8 | contributions and expenditures; penalties.-- |
| 9 | (7) In lieu of filing a copy of a credit card statement, |
| 10 | reports of political parties shall include the name, address, |
| 11 | and purpose of any third party with whom a credit card was used |
| 12 | to consummate a transaction; however, with respect to a |
| 13 | reimbursement for transportation, lodging, meals, and other |
| 14 | travel expenditures, such reports shall include a description of |
| 15 | the reimbursement such as travel or a similar identification, |
| 16 | together with the name and address of the person to whom a |
| 17 | reimbursement is made. This subsection shall operate |
| 18 | retroactively to January 1, 2004. |
| 19 | Section 3. This act shall take effect February 1, 2006. |
