11  The Committee on Education (Klein) recommended the following
12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 3, between lines 19 and 20,
16  
17  insert:  
18         (7)  The Office of Program Policy Analysis and
19  Government Accountability shall assess methods used to
20  evaluate a student's ability to successfully complete the
21  course of study for which the student has applied before
22  accepting the student into the program, completion rates,
23  job-placement rates, and the method used by institutions to
24  assure the accuracy of the reported data. By December 31,
25  2007, the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government
26  Accountability shall submit an initial report to the President
27  of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
