39Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

41     Section 1.  Osun's Village designated; Department of
42Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
43     (1)  That portion of N.W. 7th Avenue between N.W. 54th
44Street and N.W. 60th Street in Miami-Dade County is designated
45as "Osun's Village."
46     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
47suitable markers designating Osun's Village as described in
48subsection (1).
49     Section 2.  African Caribbean Cultural Arts Corridor
50designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
51markers.--
52     (1)  That portion of N.W. 7th Avenue between N.W. 36th
53Street and N.W. 79th Street in Miami-Dade County is designated
54as "African Caribbean Cultural Arts Corridor."
55     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
56suitable markers designating African Caribbean Cultural Arts
57Corridor as described in subsection (1).
58     Section 3.  Burl Marler Walkway designated; Department of
59Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
60     (1)  The pedestrian overpass on John Sims Parkway in the
61City of Niceville in Okaloosa County is designated as "Burl
62Marler Walkway."
63     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
64suitable markers designating Burl Marler Walkway as described in
65subsection (1).
66     Section 4.  Dr. Phillip A. Payne Bridge designated;
67Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
68     (1)  The Cervantes Street Bridge on U.S. Highway 90 over
69Bayou Texar in the City of Pensacola in Escambia County is
70designated as "Dr. Phillip A. Payne Bridge."
71     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
72suitable markers designating Dr. Phillip A. Payne Bridge as
73described in subsection (1).
74     Section 5.  Carlos C. Lopez-Aguiar Way designated;
75Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
76     (1)  That portion of S.W. 1st Street between 8th Avenue and
7712th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as "Carlos C.
78Lopez-Aguiar Way."
79     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
80suitable markers designating Carlos C. Lopez-Aguiar Way as
81described in subsection (1).
82     Section 6.  Reverend Samuel Atchison Boulevard designated;
83Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
84     (1)  That portion of N.W. 7th Avenue between N.W. 62nd
85Street and N.W. 95th Street in Miami-Dade County is designated
86as "Reverend Samuel Atchison Boulevard."
87     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
88suitable markers designating Reverend Samuel Atchison Boulevard
89as described in subsection (1).
90     Section 7.  Adam Leigh Cann Building designated; Department
91of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
92     (1)  That portion of the Department of Transportation
93District Six Headquarters commonly known as the Main Building,
94which is located at 1000 N.W. 111th Avenue in the City of Miami,
95is designated as the "Adam Leigh Cann Building."
96     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
97suitable markers designating the Adam Leigh Cann Building as
98described in subsection (1).
99     Section 8.  Senator N. Ray Carroll Memorial Interchange
100designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
101markers.--
102     (1)  The Florida Turnpike interchange being constructed at
103Milepost 240 and Kissimmee Park Road in Osceola County is
104designated as "Senator N. Ray Carroll Memorial Interchange."
105     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
106suitable markers designating Senator N. Ray Carroll Memorial
107Interchange as described in subsection (1).
108     Section 9.  Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard designated;
109Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers; repeal
110of prior designation.--
111     (1)  That portion of State Road 944 on N.W. 54th Street
112between U.S. Highway 1 and N.E. 2nd Avenue in Miami-Dade County
113is designated as "Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard."
114     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
115suitable markers designating Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard as
116described in subsection (1).
117     (3)  Section 6 of chapter 2003-296, Laws of Florida, is
118repealed.
119     Section 10.  A.B. Martin Street designated; Department of
120Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
121     (1)  That portion of N.W. 135th Street between N.W. 27th
122Avenue and N.W. 37th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated
123as "A.B. Martin Street."
124     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
125suitable markers designating A.B. Martin Street as described in
126subsection (1).
127     Section 11.  Leighton Lee Baker Memorial Highway
128designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
129markers.--
130     (1)  That portion of Old U.S. Highway 441 between David
131Walker Drive and Eudora Road in Lake County is designated as
132"Leighton Lee Baker Memorial Highway."
133     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
134suitable markers designating Leighton Lee Baker Memorial Highway
135as described in subsection (1).
136     Section 12.  Trinchitella Boulevard designated; Department
137of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
138     (1)  That portion of S.W. 10th Street between F.A.U.
139Research Park Boulevard and the Sawgrass Expressway in the City
140of Deerfield Beach in Broward County is designated as
141"Trinchitella Boulevard."
142     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
143suitable markers designating Trinchitella Boulevard as described
144in subsection (1).
145     Section 13.  John Van Waters Memorial Highway designated;
146Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
147     (1)  That portion of State Road 35 from County Road 35A
148north to the Pasco County line in Pasco County is designated as
149"John Van Waters Memorial Highway."
150     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
151suitable markers designating John Van Waters Memorial Highway as
152described in subsection (1).
153     Section 14.  Emilio Ochoa Boulevard designated; Department
154of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
155     (1)  That portion of Calle Ocho (S.W. 8th Street) between
156S.W. 87th Avenue and S.W. 97th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is
157designated as "Emilio Ochoa Boulevard."
158     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
159suitable markers designating Emilio Ochoa Boulevard as described
160in subsection (1).
161     Section 15.  Eddie Mae Steward Avenue designated;
162Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
163     (1)  That portion of Main Street between West 6th Street
164and West 8th Street in Duval County is designated as "Eddie Mae
165Steward Avenue."
166     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
167suitable markers designating Eddie Mae Steward Avenue as
168described in subsection (1).
169     Section 16.  Mary L. Austin Jones Avenue designated;
170Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
171     (1)  That portion of Main Street between West 37th Street
172and West 46th Street in Duval County is designated as "Mary L.
173Austin Jones Avenue."
174     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
175suitable markers designating Mary L. Austin Jones Avenue as
176described in subsection (1).
177     Section 17.  Flossie Brunson Avenue designated; Department
178of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
179     (1)  That portion of Main Street between West 8th Street
180and West 18th Street in Duval County is designated as "Flossie
181Brunson Avenue."
182     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
183suitable markers designating Flossie Brunson Avenue as described
184in subsection (1).
185     Section 18.  Robert L. Brown, Sr., Highway designated;
186Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
187     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 1 between Finch Avenue
188and Trout River Boulevard in Duval County is designated as
189"Robert L. Brown, Sr., Highway."
190     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
191suitable markers designating Robert L. Brown, Sr., Highway as
192described in subsection (1).
193     Section 19.  Barbara Van Blake Parkway designated;
194Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
195     (1)  That portion of Lem Turner Road between Interstate 95
196and Edgewood Avenue in Duval County is designated as "Barbara
197Van Blake Parkway."
198     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
199suitable markers designating Barbara Van Blake Parkway as
200described in subsection (1).
201     Section 20.  MaVynne "The Beach Lady" Betsch Highway
202designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
203markers.--
204     (1)  That portion of Florida First Coast Highway beginning
205at Burney Road and continuing north through the 5500 block of
206Florida First Coast Highway in Nassau County is designated as
207"MaVynne 'The Beach Lady' Betsch Highway."
208     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
209suitable markers designating MaVynne "The Beach Lady" Betsch
210Highway as described in subsection (1).
211     Section 21.  Brian D. Little Road designated; Department of
212Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
213     (1)  That portion of State Road 188 between State Road 189
214and State Road 85 in Okaloosa County is designated as "Brian D.
215Little Road."
216     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
217suitable markers designating Brian D. Little Road as described
218in subsection (1).
219     Section 22.  John Land Apopka Expressway designated;
220Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
221     (1)  That portion of State Road 414 known as Maitland
222Boulevard that extends west from U.S. Highway 441 to the City of
223Apopka before heading north to U.S. Highway 441 near County Road
224437, which is commonly known as Maitland Boulevard Extension, is
225designated as "John Land Apopka Expressway."
226     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
227suitable markers designating John Land Apopka Expressway as
228described in subsection (1).
229     Section 23.  George C. Means Memorial Bridge designated;
230Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
231     (1)  The replacement bridge over Lake Jesup on State Road
23246 near Sanford designated as the "George C. Means Memorial
233Bridge."
234     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
235suitable markers designating the George C. Means Memorial Bridge
236as described in subsection (1).
237     Section 24.  Patrick D. Smith Causeway designated;
238Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
239     (1)  The portion of State Road 520 in Brevard County which
240is between mile post 13.2 and mile post 15.3 and lies
241approximately between the West Banana River and Cape Canaveral
242Hospital is designated as the "Patrick D. Smith Causeway."
243     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
244suitable markers designating the Patrick D. Smith Causeway as
245described in subsection (1).
246     Section 25.  Charles M. Parker Bridge designated;
247Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
248     (1)  The Canal Park Bridge on U.S. Highway 98 in the City
249of Mexico Beach in Bay County is designated as the "Charles M.
250Parker Bridge."
251     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
252suitable markers designating the Charles M. Parker Bridge as
253described in subsection (1).
254     Section 26.  Rosa Parks Memorial Highway designated;
255Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
256     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 301 from State Road 40 in
257Marion County through the City of Waldo in Alachua County is
258designated as "Rosa Parks Memorial Highway."
259     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
260suitable markers designating Rosa Parks Memorial Highway as
261described in subsection (1).
262     Section 27.  Veterans Memorial Parkway designated;
263Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
264     (1)  That portion of U.S. 41 in the City of Jasper in
265Hamilton County from its intersection with U.S. 129 to the
266southern city limit is designated as "Veterans Memorial
267Parkway."
268     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
269suitable markers designating Veterans Memorial Parkway as
270described in subsection (1).
271     Section 28.  Austin Dewey Gay Memorial Agricultural
272Inspection Station designated; Department of Agriculture and
273Consumer Services to erect suitable markers.--
274     (1)  The inspection station of the Department of
275Agriculture and Consumer Services which is located at the 1-mile
276marker on Interstate Highway 10 in Escambia County is designated
277as the "Austin Dewey Gay Memorial Agricultural Inspection
278Station."
279     (2)  The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is
280directed to erect suitable markers designating the Austin Dewey
281Gay Memorial Agricultural Inspection Station as described in
282subsection (1).
283     Section 29.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
