4     Remove line(s) 20-24 and insert:
5     97.05831  Voter registration applications made available to
6the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Department
7of Education.--As required in ss. 372.561 and 1012.56, each
8supervisor of elections shall supply voter registration
9applications to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
10and its subagents and the Department of Education, as needed.
11     Section 2.  Subsection (17) is added to section 1012.56,
12Florida Statutes, to read:
13     1012.56  Educator certification requirements.--
14     (17)  VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATIONS.--
15     (a)  Any person who applies for certification under this
16chapter shall be asked if he or she would like the appropriate
17supervisor of elections to provide a voter registration
18application to the applicant at a later date. If at the time of
19application the applicant indicates that he or she would like to
20receive a voter registration application, the Department of
21Education shall, within 7 days, make the request available to
22the appropriate supervisor of elections or voter registration
23agency so that an application may be sent to the applicant.
24Supervisors of elections shall mail an application to each
25person requesting such application within 5 business days after
26receipt of the request.
27     (b)  The department may satisfy the requirements of
28paragraph (a) by providing access to an Internet site with the
29voter registration information included thereon.
30     (c)  Each person who applies for certification under this
31chapter on the Internet shall be provided a link to the
32Department of State's online uniform statewide voter
33registration application.
