13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 2, line 17, through
15            page 4, line 4, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         1.  A section entitled "Do you really need a nursing
19  home?," which shall be the first section on the website, shall
20  be prominently displayed, and shall contain an explanation of
21  the nursing home diversion program. It shall explain that this
22  state offers alternative programs that permit qualified
23  elderly persons to stay in their homes instead of being placed
24  in nursing homes and shall encourage interested persons to
25  call the CARES program to inquire if they qualify. It shall
26  list only programs that provide nursing home service when
27  needed. It may list home and community-based programs but must
28  clearly state the services that are provided and that nursing
29  home services are not included.
30         2.1.  A list by name and address of all nursing home
31  facilities in this state, including any prior name by which a

Whether such nursing home facilities are 3 proprietary or nonproprietary. 4 4.3. The current owner of the facility's license and 5 the year that that entity became the owner of the license. 6 5.4. The name of the owner or owners of each facility 7 and whether the facility is affiliated with a company or other 8 organization owning or managing more than one nursing facility 9 in this state. 10 6.5. The total number of beds in each facility and the 11 most recently available occupancy levels. 12 7.6. The number of private and semiprivate rooms in 13 each facility. 14 8.7. The religious affiliation, if any, of each 15 facility. 16 9.8. The languages spoken by the administrator and 17 staff of each facility. 18 10.9. Whether or not each facility accepts Medicare or 19 Medicaid recipients or insurance, health maintenance 20 organization, Veterans Administration, CHAMPUS program, or 21 workers' compensation coverage. 22 11.10. Recreational and other programs available at 23 each facility. 24 12.11. Special care units or programs offered at each 25 facility. 26 13.12. Whether the facility is a part of a retirement 27 community that offers other services pursuant to part III, 28 part IV, or part V. 29 14.13. For noncertified nursing 4 homes, state survey and deficiency information, including 5 licensure annual survey, revisit, and complaint survey 6 information for the past 30 45 months shall be provided. 7 15.14. A summary of the deficiency Online Survey 8 Certification and Reporting (OSCAR) data for each facility 9 over the past 30 45 months. The Such summary may include a 10 score, rating, or comparison ranking with respect to other 11 facilities based on the number of citations received by the 12 facility on recertification, licensure of annual, revisit, and 13 complaint surveys; the severity and scope of the citations; 14 and the number of annual recertification surveys the facility 15 has had during the past 30 45 months.
