11  Senator Fasano moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 86, between lines 21 and 22,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 38.  Section 553.382, Florida Statutes, is
18  created to read:
19         553.382  Placement of certain housing notwithstanding
20  other laws.--Notwithstanding any other law, in order to expand
21  the option for affordable housing in this state, residential
22  housing that is transportable, relocatable, certified under
23  this chapter, and certified to withstand a hurricane that is
24  category 5 or stronger may be placed on a mobile home lot, in
25  a mobile home park, recreational vehicle park, or mobile home
26  subdivision. Any such housing placed upon a mobile home lot as
27  defined in chapter 723 shall be deemed to be a mobile home for
28  the purposes of chapter 723.

 5  insert:
 6         creating s. 553.382, F.S.; authorizing

 9         lot, in a mobile home park, recreational
10         vehicle park, or mobile home subdivision;
11         providing that housing placed on a mobile home
12         lot is deemed a mobile home for purposes of
13         chapter 723;
