  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Department of Highway

  3         Safety and Motor Vehicles; requiring the

  4         department to accept payments made using credit

  5         or debit cards; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8  

  9         Section 1.  The Department of Highway Safety and Motor

10  Vehicles shall allow the use of credit cards or debit cards to

11  pay fees for all services provided by the department.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
