12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 1, line 9,

17 insert:
18 Section 1. Subsection (3) is added to section 338.161,
19 Florida Statutes, to read:
20 338.161 Authority of department to advertise and
21 promote electronic toll collection.--
22 (3) If the department or any toll agency created by
23 statute finds that it can increase non-toll revenues or add
24 convenience or other value for its customers, the department
25 or toll agency may enter into agreements with private or
26 public entities in order to provide additional uses for its
27 electronic toll collection system. The department or toll
28 agency may incur expenses to advertise or promote its
29 electronic toll collection system to consumers for products or
30 services whether on or off the turnpike or toll system.
