| 4 | Remove line(s) 2390-2412 and insert: |
| 5 | Section 60. Sections 331.314, 331.315, 331.367, and |
| 6 | 331.368, Florida Statutes, are repealed. |
| 7 | Section 61. The Florida Space Authority and the Florida |
| 8 | Space Research Institute shall submit articles of dissolution to |
| 9 | the Department of State in accordance with s. 607.1403, Florida |
| 10 | Statutes, or s. 617.1403, Florida Statutes, as applicable. The |
| 11 | Florida Space Authority shall also comply with the dissolution |
| 12 | procedures provided s. 189.4042, Florida Statutes. Space |
| 13 | Florida, as created by this act, is the successor organization |
| 14 | to the Florida Space Authority and the Florida Space Research |
| 15 | Institute. The Florida Space Authority and the Florida Space |
| 16 | Research Institute shall transfer and Space Florida shall |
| 17 | receive all records, property, obligations, and unexpended |
| 18 | balances of appropriations, allocations, or other funds of the |
| 19 | dissolved entities. To ensure compliance with 26 U.S.C. |
| 20 | 501(c)(3), Space Florida shall use the assets and funds |
| 21 | transferred to it from the Florida Space Research Institute in a |
| 22 | manner consistent with the purposes for which the originating |
| 23 | entity received such assets and funds. |
