14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         Between lines 2516-2517,

17  insert:  
18         Section 69.  Notwithstanding s. 331.308(1)(f), Florida
20  appointees, to the Florida Space Authority Board of
21  Supervisors shall complete their appointed terms as members of
22  the Space Florida Board and shall assist Space Florida with
23  its transition. Their historical perspective, insight, and
24  expertise will ensure continuity of operations. The Governor
25  shall make appointments to fill the remaining vacancies by
26  July 1, 2006. Other vacancies occurring prior to the
27  expiration of a term may be filled as provided in this act.
28  The board of directors of Space Florida shall hold its first
29  meeting by August 1, 2006. The board of directors shall
30  appoint a president by September 1, 2006. The Executive Office
31  of the Governor shall provide staffing and transition
