  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to official state designations;

  3         creating s. 15.0301, F.S.; designating an

  4         official state motto; providing an effective

  5         date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8  

  9         Section 1.  Section 15.0301, Florida Statutes, is

10  created to read:

11         15.0301  State motto.--"In God We Trust" is designated

12  and declared the official motto of the State of Florida.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
