| 4 | within the municipal limits of the City of Pembroke Pines |
| 5 | and the Town of Southwest Ranches; providing an effective |

| 8 | WHEREAS, the approximately 30 acres of property known as |
| 9 | the Laguna Isles Community Center and adjoining wetlands is |
| 10 | currently located in the Town of Southwest Ranches, with the |
| 11 | remaining area of the Laguna Isles community residing in the |
| 12 | City of Pembroke Pines, and |
| 13 | WHEREAS, the approximately 30 acres of property known as |
| 14 | the Frontier Trails Park is owned by the Town of Southwest |
| 15 | Ranches, but currently resides in the City of Pembroke Pines, |
| 16 | and both municipalities desire to return these properties to the |
| 17 | appropriate municipality, NOW, THEREFORE, |
| 18 |

| 19 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 20 |

| 21 | Section 1. The lands contained in the following legal |
| 22 | description are deannexed from the City of Pembroke Pines, |
| 23 | Broward County: |
| 24 | ALL OF THE PLAT OF "FRONTIER TRAILS", AS RECORDED IN |
| 25 | PLAT BOOK 97, PAGE 8, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD |
| 26 | COUNTY, FLORIDA. SAID LANDS SITUATE IN THE CITY OF |
| 27 | PEMBROKE PINES, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA AND CONTAINING |
| 28 | 30.057 ACRES, MORE OR LESS. |
