2 An act relating to building designations;
3 designating the John M. McKay Visitors Pavilion
4 at the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art at
5 the Florida State University Center for
6 Cultural Arts; designating the Reubin O'D.
7 Askew Student Life Center, the Sherrill
8 Williams Ragans Hall, the John Thrasher
9 Building, the Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser
10 Stadium, and the JoAnne Graf Softball Field at
11 Florida State University; authorizing the
12 university to erect markers; providing an
13 effective date.

15 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

17 Section 1. John M. McKay Visitors' Pavilion
18 designated; Florida State University to erect suitable
19 markers.--
20 (1) The proposed entrance pavilion at the John and
21 Mabel Ringling Museum of Art at the Florida State University
22 Center for Cultural Arts in Sarasota is designated as the
23 "John M. McKay Visitors' Pavilion."
24 (2) Florida State University is authorized to erect
25 suitable markers designating the John M. Mckay Visitors'
26 Pavilion as described in subsection (1).
27 Section 2. Reubin O'D. Askew Student Life Center
28 designated; Florida State University to erect suitable
29 markers.--

1 (1) The Student Life Building at Florida State
2 University is designated as the "Reubin O'D. Askew Student
3 Life Center."
4 (2) Florida State University is authorized to erect
5 suitable markers designating the Reubin O'D. Askew Student
6 Life Center as described in subsection (1).
7 Section 3. Sherrill Williams Ragans Hall designated;
8 Florida State University to erect suitable markers.--
9 (1) The new residence hall complex at Florida State
10 University, located at 921 College Avenue, is designated as
11 "Sherrill Williams Ragans Hall."
12 (2) Florida State University is authorized to erect
13 suitable markers designating Sherrill Williams Ragans Hall as
14 described in subsection (1).
15 Section 4. John Thrasher Building designated; Florida
16 State University to erect suitable markers.--
17 (1) The Education and Administration Building at the
18 Florida State University College of Medicine is designated as
19 the "John Thrasher Building."
20 (2) Florida State University is authorized to erect
21 suitable markers designating the John Thrasher Building as
22 described in subsection (1).
23 Section 5. Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium
24 designated; Florida State University to erect suitable
25 markers.--
26 (1) The baseball field at Florida State University is
27 designated as the "Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium."
28 (2) Florida State University is authorized to erect
29 suitable markers designating the Mike Martin Field at Dick
30 Howser Stadium as described in subsection (1).

1 Section 6. JoAnne Graf Softball Field designated;
2 Florida State University to erect suitable markers.--
3 (1) The softball field at Florida State University is
4 designated as the "JoAnne Graf Field."
5 (2) Florida State University is authorized to erect
6 suitable markers designating the JoAnne Graf Field as
7 described in subsection (1).
8 Section 7. This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
