14 On page 1, between lines 26 and 27,

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Paragraph (eee) is added to subsection (4)
18 of section 320.08056, Florida Statutes, to read:
19 320.08056 Specialty license plates.--
20 (4) The following license plate annual use fees shall
21 be collected for the appropriate specialty license plates:
22 (eee) NASCAR license plate, $25.
23 Section 3. Subsection (57) is added to section
24 320.08058, Florida Statutes, to read:
25 320.08058 Specialty license plates.--
26 (57) NASCAR LICENSE PLATES.--
27 (a) The department shall develop a NASCAR license
28 plate as provided in this subsection. NASCAR license plates
29 must bear the colors and design approved by the department.
30 The word "Florida" must appear at the top of the plate, and
31 the term "NASCAR" must appear at the bottom of the plate. The

1 department may consult with the National Association for Stock
2 Car Auto Racing, Inc., and the International Speedway
3 Corporation for a sample plate for consideration by the
4 department.
5 (b) The annual use fees shall be distributed in the
6 following manner:
7 1. Seventy-five percent to assist in funding trauma
8 centers statewide; and
9 2. Twenty-five percent to the Daytona Racing and
10 Recreation Facilities District to be used to advertise and
11 promote the sport of auto racing in this state and for such
12 other purposes as the district charter permits.
13 Section 4. Chapter 2005-357, Laws of Florida, is
14 repealed.

21 On page 1, line 6, following the semicolon

23 insert:
24 amending ss. 320.08056, 320.08058, F.S.;
25 creating the NASCAR license plate; providing an
26 annual use fee; providing for distribution of
27 annual use fees received from the sale of such
28 plates; repealing chapter 2005-357, Laws of
29 Florida, which created a NASCAR license plate
30 upon the fulfillment of certain conditions;
