  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to building designations;

  3         designating the Department of Environmental

  4         Protection building and laboratory on the site

  5         at 2600 Blair Stone Road in Tallahassee as the

  6         "Bob Martinez Center"; directing the Department

  7         of Management Services to erect suitable

  8         markers; providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  Bob Martinez Center designated; Department

13  of Management Services to erect suitable markers.--

14         (1)  The site at 2600 Blair Stone Road in Tallahassee,

15  which houses offices and a laboratory facility for the

16  Department of Environmental Protection, is designated as the

17  "Bob Martinez Center."

18         (2)  The Department of Management Services is directed

19  to erect suitable markers designating the Bob Martinez Center

20  as described in subsection (1).

21         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.

23          STATEMENT OF SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES CONTAINED IN
                       COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
24                         Senate Bill 162

26  Changes the designation from one building at Blair Stone Road
    as the "Bob Martinez Building" to designating both office
27  buildings and the DEP lab as the "Bob Martinez Center."

28  Changes responsibility for erecting a suitable marker from DEP
    to DMS, which manages the buildings.
