  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to home warranty associations;

  3         amending s. 634.312, F.S.; revising a

  4         prohibition against Office of Insurance

  5         Regulation approval of certain forms; providing

  6         an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  Subsection (3) of section 634.312, Florida

11  Statutes, is amended to read:

12         634.312  Filing, approval of forms.--

13         (3)  The office shall not approve any such form that

14  imposes which allows for more than nine annual renewals or

15  which renewal contracts provide that the cost of renewal

16  exceeds the then-current cost for new warranty contracts or

17  impose a fee for inspection of the premises.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
