18  and insert:  
19         (b)  A person hired on a part-time or temporary basis,
20  or as an independent contractor, by an owner to assist with
21  herd management and animal husbandry tasks for herd and flock
22  animals, including castration, dehorning, parasite control and
23  debeaking, or a person hired on a part-time or temporary basis
24  or as an independent contractor by the owner to provide
25  farriery and manual hand floating of teeth on equines.
