11  The Committee on Domestic Security (Dockery) recommended the
12  following amendment to amendment (720760):
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 51, between lines 6 and 7,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 27.  Subsection (1) of section 320.8325,
19  Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
20         320.8325  Mobile homes, manufactured homes, and park
21  trailers; uniform installation standards; injunctions;
22  penalty.--
23         (1)  The department shall adopt rules setting forth
24  uniform standards for the installation of mobile homes,
25  manufactured homes, and park trailers and for the manufacture
26  of components, products, or systems used in the installation
27  of mobile homes, manufactured homes, and park trailers. The
28  rules shall ensure that the home or park trailer is installed
29  on a permanent foundation that resists wind, flood, flotation,
30  overturning, sliding, and lateral movement of the home or park
31  trailer. No entity, other than the department, has authority

 1  to amend these uniform standards. The owner of the mobile
 2  home, manufactured home, or park trailer shall be responsible
 3  for the installation in accordance with department rules.
 4  Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
 5  the foundation systems approved in rules promulgated by the
 6  department under this section are acceptable systems for all
 7  types of manufactured buildings as defined in s. 553.36.
