11 The Committee on Transportation (Sebesta) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 5, between lines 26 and 27,

17 insert:
18 Section 4. Subsection (3) of Section 316.2125, Florida
19 Statutes, is created to read:
20 (3) A local governmental entity may enact an ordinance
21 regarding golf cart operation and equipment which is more
22 restrictive than those enumerated in this section. Upon
23 enactment of any such ordinance, the local governmental entity
24 shall post appropriate signs or otherwise inform the residents
25 that such an ordinance exists and that it shall be enforced
26 within the local government's jurisdictional territory. An
27 ordinance referred to in this section must apply only to an
28 unlicensed driver.
