11 The Committee on Education Appropriations (Wise) recommended
12 the following amendment to amendment (230742):

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 4, between lines 7 and 8,
16
17 insert:
18 Section 3. Section 1009.892, Florida Statutes, is
19 created to read:
20 1009.892 Cost of attendance; adult norm-referenced
21 testing.--
22 (1) A public or private postsecondary institution
23 shall include in its cost of attendance adult norm-referenced
24 testing that it requires for eligible students to qualify for
25 accommodations for disabilities.
26 (2) To be eligible, a student must be a legal resident
27 of this state, as defined in s. 1009.21; must be enrolled in
28 at least 6 semester hours, or the equivalent, per term in a
29 degree, certificate, or diploma program; and must have
30 documented learning disabilities under the Individuals with
31 Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 or the
