  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the excise tax on aviation

  3         fuel; abating the amount of the excise tax

  4         imposed on each gallon of aviation fuel sold in

  5         this state until a date certain; providing an

  6         effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  Notwithstanding s. 206.9825(1)(a), Florida

11  Statutes, 3.45 cents per gallon of the excise tax on aviation

12  fuel is abated until July 1, 2010.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
