11  The Committee on Health Care (Peaden) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 2, line 30, through
16            page 6, line 26, delete those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         Section 3.  Paragraph (k) is added to subsection (4) of
20  section 400.9905, Florida Statutes, to read:
21         400.9905  Definitions.--
22         (4)  "Clinic" means an entity at which health care
23  services are provided to individuals and which tenders charges
24  for reimbursement for such services, including a mobile clinic
25  and a portable equipment provider. For purposes of this part,
26  the term does not include and the licensure requirements of
27  this part do not apply to:
28         (k)  Entities that provide licensed practitioners to
29  staff emergency departments or to provide anesthesia services
30  to facilities licensed under chapter 395 and which derive at
31  least 90 percent of their gross annual revenues from the

 1  provision of such services. Entities claiming exemption from
 2  licensure under this paragraph shall provide documentation
 3  demonstrating compliance.
