11 The Committee on Judiciary (Baker) recommended the following
12 amendment to amendment (925998):

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 4, between lines 8 and 9,
16
17 insert:
18 Section 4. Subsection (1) of section 903.31, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 903.31 Canceling the bond.--
21 (1) Within 10 business days after the conditions of a
22 bond have been satisfied or the forfeiture discharged or
23 remitted, the court shall order the bond canceled and, if the
24 surety has attached a certificate of cancellation to the
25 original bond, the clerk of the court shall furnish an
26 executed certificate of cancellation to the surety without
27 cost. An adjudication of guilt or innocence, an acquittal, or
28 a withholding of an adjudication of guilt of the defendant
29 shall satisfy the conditions of the bond. The original
30 appearance bond shall expire 36 months after such bond has
31 been posted for the release of the defendant from custody.

9 On page 4, line 29, after the semicolon,

11 insert:
12 amending s. 903.31, F.S.; providing that the
13 clerk of court shall furnish an executed
14 certificate of cancellation to the surety;
15 providing that an acquittal or a withholding of
16 adjudication of guilt shall satisfy bond
17 conditions;
