15 On page 4, line 30, through page 5, line 13, delete all
16 of said lines

18 and insert: (a) The board shall consist of 11 members. Five
19 members shall be appointed by the Governor, one of whom the
20 Governor shall appoint as chair of the board, one of whom must
21 be a member of the board of directors of Enterprise Florida,
22 Inc., and one of whom must be a member of the Board of
23 Governors of the State University System. Three members shall
24 be appointed by the President of the Senate and three members
25 shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of
26 Representatives. Appointed members must be representative of
27 business leaders, industrial researchers, academic
28 researchers, scientists, and leaders in the emerging and
29 advanced technology sector. Appointed members may not serve
30 for more than 4 years and any vacancy that occurs during these
31 appointees' terms shall be filled in the same manner as the
