  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Regulatory Trust Fund;

  3         amending s. 215.321, F.S.; requiring funds

  4         collected under ch. 517, F.S., to be deposited

  5         into the Regulatory Trust Fund; providing an

  6         exception; amending s. 517.315, F.S.; requiring

  7         fees and charges collected by the Office of

  8         Financial Regulation to be paid into the

  9         Regulatory Trust Fund; providing that the

10         Regulatory Trust Fund is subject to a service

11         charge; providing an effective date.

13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14  

15         Section 1.  Section 215.321, Florida Statutes, is

16  amended to read:

17         215.321  Regulatory Trust Fund.--All funds received

18  pursuant to ss. 494.001-494.0077, chapter 497, chapter 516,

19  chapter 517, except the fees and charges collected under s.

20  517.131, chapter 520, or part I of chapter 559 shall be

21  deposited into the Regulatory Trust Fund.

22         Section 2.  Section 517.315, Florida Statutes, is

23  amended to read:

24         517.315  Fees.--All fees and charges of any nature

25  collected by the office pursuant to this chapter, except the

26  fees and charges collected pursuant to s. 517.131, shall be

27  paid into the Regulatory Trust Fund State Treasury and

28  credited to the General Revenue Fund; and an appropriation

29  shall be made annually of necessary funds for the

30  administration of the provisions of this chapter. The

 1  Regulatory Trust Fund is subject to the service charge imposed

 2  under chapter 215.

 3         Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

 4  law.

 8    Requires funds collected under ch. 517, F.S., to be
      deposited into the Regulatory Trust Fund. Provides an
 9    exception. Requires fees and charges collected by the
      Office of Financial Regulation to be paid into the
