11  Senator Garcia moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 9, lines 11-18, delete those lines
15  
16  and insert:  
17         (8)  "Specialty clinic" means a clinic, as defined in
18  subsection (4) and including those entities exempt under that
19  subsection, not licensed as a home health agency which
20  provides infusion therapy services to treat conditions caused
21  by or related to HIV or AIDS to outpatients who remain less
22  than 24 hours at the facility or to patients who receive such
23  services where they reside. The term does not include:
24         (a)  Entities licensed under part II or part III;
25         (b)  Entities licensed under part IV which provide
26  infusion therapy to patients only in the home or residence of
27  the patient; or
28         (c)  Entities licensed under chapter 395.
