15 On page 49, between lines 16 and 17,

17 insert:
18 (21) MEDICAL PAYMENTS COVERAGE.--Optional medical
19 payments coverage may be offered in a policy of motor vehicle
20 insurance and shall pay the portion of any claim for personal
21 injury protection medical benefits which is otherwise covered
22 but is not payable due to the coinsurance provision of
23 paragraph (1)(a), regardless of whether the full amount of
24 personal injury protection coverage has been exhausted.
