  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to workers' compensation and

  3         employer's liability insurance; repealing s.

  4         627.091(4), F.S., relating to provisions that

  5         allow an insurer to satisfy its obligation to

  6         make rate filings by being a member of or

  7         subscriber to a licensed rating organization

  8         that makes such filings; providing an effective

  9         date.

11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12  

13         Section 1.  Subsection (4) of section 627.091, Florida

14  Statutes, is repealed.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.

18                          SENATE SUMMARY

19    Repeals a provision under which workers' compensation and
      employer's liability insurers required to make rate
20    filings may fulfill their obligation by being members of,
      or subscribers to, a licensed rating organization that
21    makes such filings.
