  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to legal holidays; amending s.

  3         683.01, F.S.; providing that the second Monday

  4         in May is Child Welfare Social Workers' and

  5         Case Professionals' Recognition Day, a legal

  6         holiday; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10         Section 1.  Paragraph (v) is added to subsection (1) of

11  section 683.01, Florida Statutes, to read:

12         683.01  Legal holidays.--

13         (1)  The legal holidays, which are also public

14  holidays, are the following:

15         (v)  Child Welfare Social Workers' and Case

16  Professionals' Recognition Day, the second Monday in May.

17         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
